My Specialties & Background

My Work

My approach balances compassion, pragmatism, and directness. I want every client to leave our work together feeling more self-compassionate, self-trusting, and resilient.

I specialize in family and couples therapy, attachment and communication patterns, and supporting clients as they strengthen relationships and navigate change. My work often focuses on codependency, addiction, boundary-setting, and self-advocacy, along with guiding individuals through existential and spiritual questions that shape meaning and connection.

I also work with OCD and anxiety using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and support clients experiencing narcissistic abuse recovery, chronic illness, or hormonal and reproductive transitions such as PMDD, severe PMS, and perimenopause. My practice welcomes LGBTQ+ and non-binary individuals, ethical non-monogamy, kink, and alternative relationship structures, as well as traditional family systems.

My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (parts work), the Enneagram, ACT, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and somatic awareness, always centered on what feels authentic and useful for you.

My Belief

One of my favorite questions to explore in therapy is:
“What would it be like to feel both secure and free?”

I’m in awe of the human capacity for growth — how even our deepest pain can lead to more joy and aliveness. I believe that exploring your upbringing, patterns, and perspective shifts, alongside cultivating compassion and relational skills, can ease suffering and restore hope.

Whatever you bring — your secrets, contradictions, or wildest feelings — I’ll meet it with respect and curiosity. You’re already doing something brave by being here, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you.

My Background

For over 25 years, I’ve supported parents, families, and children, blending coaching and counseling work to help people find balance and connection. I’ve been a Certified Life Coach for 19 years and hold a Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) certification, having worked extensively in the intersections of lactation, sleep, and postpartum wellness.

Currently, I’m completing my Master’s in Couple and Family Counseling at Walden University, building on a lifelong passion for relationships and healing. My background also includes a BA in Psychology, Sex, and Gender, and a minor in Marine Ecology.

My approach draws from Psychodynamic, Existential, and Narrative perspectives, while incorporating somatic work, guided visualizations, and early-level hypnotherapy for clients who enjoy creative, body-based approaches.

My Self

My Libra sun diplomacy helps me see all sides — a strength in couples work. As an Enneagram 5, I’m endlessly curious and committed to finding resources that best support your unique challenges.

I identify as a queer lesbian and describe myself as a blend of earthy, spiritual, and evidence-based. My family includes my partner and our two children, ages 15 and 7. I’m also deeply aware of my privileges and social context as a white-passing, culturally Jewish, mostly able-bodied cis woman.

Outside of sessions, you’ll find me leading small spiritual groups, walking beaches, kayaking, foraging, reading, and snuggling babies, dogs, and cats.
