Out of Network

If you have an insurance provider that is not part of our listed networks, but would still like to try using your insurance with us, you will want to call your insurance provider to see if they provide any “out of network” benefits.  This usually looks like them reimbursing you for a certain percentage of what you pay out of pocket.  Your therapist can then provide you with what’s called a “Superbill” that you can then submit for reimbursement.  Superbills are like an invoice of services.  You’ll just need to double check with your insurance provider specifically if that is something they do.

If you have a health savings account, most HSAs can be used to cover therapy costs.  Please inquire with your HSA company directly.

You are also welcome to simply pay out of pocket without using your insurance.  For more information on that option, click HERE .

Questions you will want to ask when calling about “out of network” insurance:

  • What is the reimbursement rate for an out-of-network “outpatient mental health provider?”
  • What forms do I need to fill out for reimbursement?
  • Do they reimburse for Associates (LMHCA)?  If your network won’t reimburse for associate licensed therapists, that’s ok!  You’ll just want to let us know so we can create special superbills just for you.

For out of network members, sessions vary between clinicians but range from $170-$245 per session.  We accept credit cards as payment and can provide you with a Superbill for reimbursement.
