My Work
My work is rooted in exploring how you came to be who you are today. Every experience and relationship, for better or worse, leaves an imprint. Many of us learn to push forward and ignore what lingers in the background, but real healing comes from turning toward what’s been left behind.
Therapy with me begins with honesty. You may come here seeking relief, and together we will manage your symptoms while understanding why they exist. I often incorporate yin yoga into sessions to help the body relearn regulation while we explore what caused the dysregulation in the first place. This work can be challenging, but so is living with the ache of unprocessed pain. As I often say, the only way out is back in.
My Belief
I have a lovingly competitive nature when it comes to trauma. I truly believe that whatever happened does not get to win. The bad thing does not get to define you, steal your light, or decide who you become.
Therapy is a process of facing the darkness that shaped us and realizing we are still here—and that we can choose where to go next. It offers a unique kind of conversation, one that helps us understand why we relate the way we do. Over time, that awareness allows us to become more of who we are meant to be.
My Background
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC61447819) with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where I focused on somatic treatments for trauma.
I graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Dance, and later became a certified yoga instructor (200 YTT) through 8 Limbs Yoga Studios. My education and continued study reflect my belief in weaving together body, mind, and spirit for lasting healing. I bring that same curiosity and dedication to my work with clients.
My Self
This is my calling. Therapy is not simply my job—it is my purpose. I found it by walking the same kind of path many of my clients are on now. Whatever brought you here called me once too, and it continues to call me still.
I have made it to the other side of a few things and remain fully human. I do not aim to be perfect, only real. I am here to walk beside you as we both navigate this complex world one step at a time.
The human condition can be heavy. Grief, shame, and exhaustion can make even the surface feel deep. Yet the world is still breathtaking. While we cannot change everything, we can change how we relate to what is. That shift is where beauty lives. If nature and the cosmos can hold it all and keep moving, so can we.
