Why we're different

Queer and trans people are often misunderstood or marginalized, and seeking therapy can come with added layers of stigma, anxiety, isolation, or trauma connected to gender and sexual identity. Affirming therapy isn’t just “regular therapy.” It’s care grounded in a nuanced understanding of the lived realities LGBTQIA+ people navigate.

Whether you’re exploring identity, coming out, coping with family rejection, strengthening relationships, building chosen family, navigating gender dysphoria, or moving through transition-related decisions, you don’t have to do it alone. At Greenlake Wellness Group, you’ll work with therapists committed to inclusion, safety, and respect, with ongoing training—so you can focus on healing, not educating your therapist.

Support Groups

We offer support groups designed for specific lived experiences, including our Queer Divorce Support Group. Across our groups and therapy services, we focus on building healing communities grounded in safety, trust, understanding, and mutual support. Whether you’re navigating identity, relationship change, grief, family transitions, or simply looking for connection, you’ll find a space to heal and belong.

We support individuals across the full LGBTQIA+ spectrum, including:

  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, queer, questioning

  • Transgender, nonbinary, gender-fluid, genderqueer

  • Intersex, Two-Spirit, gender non-conforming

  • Polyamorous, non-monogamous, and open relationship dynamics

  • Couples, queer families, and chosen-family systems

  • Young adults, teens, and elders—at any stage of coming out, identity exploration, transition, grief, or growth

  • People seeking body-positive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care
