My Work
My counseling approach centers on empathy, curiosity, compassion, and humility. I work relationally and integratively—recognizing that every client’s story and needs are unique.
I draw from existential, attachment, narrative, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), ecological, and family systems perspectives. These frameworks support clients in understanding how identity, relationships, and environment shape their lived experience.
As a Palestinian, chronically ill, non-binary, and queer clinician, I bring a deep awareness of how privilege, power, and oppression influence our mental and emotional well-being. My practice is trauma-informed, multicultural, and grounded in social justice. I welcome and affirm diverse expressions of gender, sexuality, and relationship styles—including sex-positive, polyamorous, and kink-affirming communities.
My goal is to create a comprehensive, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel safe, heard, and deeply respected. Through this collaborative process, I hope to support growth, self-discovery, and empowerment.
My Belief
Life holds a vast range of emotions—from the joyful to the disorienting. I believe that as humans, we’re wired for connection and growth. We make meaning not only through personal reflection but also through our relationships and communities. Sometimes that journey invites us to seek support, to be witnessed, and to discover new ways of being fully ourselves.
My Self
As someone who holds multiple intersecting identities, I understand what it’s like to long for belonging while navigating uncertainty. In my own healing work, I’ve learned to honor the different parts of myself and let them coexist with compassion.
In our sessions, we’ll explore what safety and trust can mean for you—creating space for connection, integration, and the freedom to be your full self.
My Background
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC61461416) and hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
Before becoming a counselor, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Dance from CalArts with a minor in Social Sciences. Touring internationally as a performer and choreographer taught me the value of collaboration and the transformative power of creativity and embodiment. My experience as both artist and clinician informs how I hold space for clients—attuned to nuance, story, and the liminal spaces where growth unfolds.
