My Work
As a social worker, my approach is rooted in systems theory, the belief that everything is connected. Our relationships, experiences, and inner worlds shape who we are. When life feels stuck or overwhelming, slowing down with curiosity and intention can help us understand what’s happening within and create space for new, healthier patterns.
My Belief
Being human can be hard, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. I believe we heal through connection, and therapy offers a safe, supportive space to feel seen and understood. My approach is relational and collaborative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, somatic, and narrative practices. I work with teens through older adults, focusing on experiences often faced by women, including identity, body image, grief, and life transitions. Rooted in curiosity and compassion, I aim to help you find clarity, healing, and a deeper sense of self.
My Backgroud
I’m a licensed independent clinical social worker in Washington with Degrees in Psychology and Social Work, both earned with honors, and a certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington. My experience spans the lifespan, from supporting foster families and caregivers to working alongside a psychiatrist specializing in treatment-resistant depression and anxiety. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the resilience of the human mind and body and shape the compassionate, informed care I offer today.
My Self
Originally from the Midwest, I’ve called Seattle home since 2012. I love exploring the Northwest with my partner, kids, and dog, whether hiking in the mountains or relaxing on a ferry with coffee in hand. I’m an avid reader, nature enthusiast, and occasional crafter.
